Divine Retreat Centre, a Catholic retreat centre for the spiritual renewal of the people, is located in the peaceful, breathtaking setting, on the banks of the river Chalakudy in Kerala. It is run by the Fathers of the Vincentian Congregation’s Mary Matha Province, with the blessing of the Catholic Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly.
Divine Retreat Centre has three ministries – spiritual retreats, charitable services and the media ministry.
Since its beginnings in 1989, week-long spiritual retreats have been held every week. Over 10 million pilgrims from all over the world have attended retreats here. The Centre receives an average of 5000 retreatants every week for the retreats held in 7 languages – English, Malayalam, Konkani, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
