Cyclades Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1836 and is one of the first Chambers of modern Greece. Its headquarters are found in Ermoupolis-Syros, and is housed in the neoclassical "Prassakakis"​ mansion. The Chamber's mission is to be a reliable partner and consultant to Cycladic businesses, offering innovative and high-added value services to the local businesses. At the same time, as a statutory state consultant on entrepreneurship issues, it is the “voice” of the local business community in the centers of decision making. The Cyclades Chamber of Commerce has established 7 offices on the islands of Andros, Milos, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, Santorini and Tinos. These offices are interconnected with the central offices of Syros, through a single information system, as well as with a modern tele-conference infrastructure. Cyclades Chamber consists of 4 departments: Services, Trade, Tourism and Processing which represent 19.500 active enterprises at 24 islands in prefecture of Cyclades.
