Louisiana Music presents classical music in new ways and from new perspectives by using the latest film technology. These classical music videos are a natural extension of the museum's high-profile concert program, and they lift the special interplay between Louisiana and world-class musicians so that it reaches beyond the museum's concert hall and is accessible to everyone.
For many years, Louisiana has served as a haven for international musicians who specialize in chamber music. It has therefore been possible to create a special relationship of trust and belonging that the museum's concert guests enjoy and that will now also be reflected to a great degree in Louisiana Music.
Stéphan Aubé, the director of the movies, aims to convey the music "from the other side" in order to lead us into a special space "that one cannot experience directly in a concert hall".
âFor those with ears to see and those with eyes to hearâ is the motto for these films, which come very close to the music!
