I just wanted to update you guys real quick! The person who re-posted my video took it down very quickly after I tried commenting again - I think my first comment was worded weirdly so they probably didn't intend to ignore me but rather just didn't know it was my video haha. I feel a bit guilty but at the same time, it was bothering me so I'm glad I asked. I hope I can get in contact with the person privately just to make sure we're good (:

TL;DR: Please don't repost my videos without permission
Hey guys! I've already talked about this a few times on twitter (sorry friends) but since most of my subscribers don't follow me there I figured it'd be best to say this here so I can stop talking about it. It's just something that's really been frustrating me, and I'm honestly sorry for talking about it so much, because what I want to do is make people laugh and this isn't entertaining or even remotely important in the grand scheme of things. So I decided to just like, make this long post and then hopefully get over it lmao.
Long story short, someone re-uploaded my 'a-yuan's dad is rich' video to TikTok without asking me. They did explicitly state that the video wasn't theirs and wrote 'credit to Juu', which I appreciate, but you can't find a channel as small as mine with just the name alone, and their re-upload of my video now, after a few days, has over 20.000 more views than my original video. I tried commenting on the re-upload, asking if they could at least link the original, but so far I've gotten no response.
While I'm super grateful they liked the video, and know they didn't do it with any intention of taking credit for it, it still kind of upset me bc I worked very hard and very long on that video. I know views and comments shouldn't matter, but it's not like I get paid for editing these videos, I'm just doing it to share fun content with fellow fans, but if someone re-uploads my content, part of the interaction I get out of uploading my videos gets taken away.
So please ask me first if you want to re-upload something of mine somewhere else. I'd honestly prefer if you just shared the video instead of re-uploading it, but if you want to re-upload it for some reason, please ask for permission first so I at least get a say in the way I'm credited. You can do this on twitter @theunfamedd - my DM's are open so you don't have to follow me, or have me follow you, to ask, and I always respond.
Anyways, that was longer than I wanted it to be, but I think I've said everything I want to say so I can stop talking about it now, I don't think more than like 3 people care anyways hfskjghfkj
