in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
Don't worry, I'm still here...
Had a few things happen over the last month that have either been a distraction or just plain bad - but the next ship review (The Beluga) is going to drop later this week assuming all the stars line up correctly.
Once that's done, I've got to check out the Mandalay. Exploration is one of the best things in the Elite galaxy, so having another ship to join the exploration roster is exciting to say the least.
Someone asked where the Krait Phantom video is a while ago - it's in the pipeline, so don't worry.
That aside, take care, much love and o7 🫡

Channel update! It’s been a while since I posted one of these...
Firstly, I know that the release schedule has been a bit wonky recently – what was roughly a two-week schedule has turned into closer to a three-week schedule. There’s a simple explanation for that – I’ve been picking up more hours in my day-to-day work recently – making the most of it whilst it’s available (which won’t be forever), cost of living and all that guff. Don’t worry though, I’m not going anywhere.
Next on the list is either the Beluga or Cutter – both of them have their scripts largely put together, I just need to get the footage from the game. After I’ve released one of those, I’m hoping the Type-8 will have been released, so will probably look at reviewing that one.
I know the list of ships in the game is a finite number and you may be wondering what happens after? There are a few bits of lore in the game I want to look into, plus a few other Elite related things. Hell I might even move to covering things as they happen, rather than months after the event.
I’ve also got *some* other stuff scripted – some of it has been for months (if not longer), but I think it’s fair to say that the camera controls in Elite spoil me somewhat – unlike other titles where it’s a clunky mess.
Until the next time, much love and o7.
(by the way, if you’ve not seen it, the Asp Explorer review went live early this morning – check it out here: https://youtu.be/59gwqUlK920 😉)

Well the latest one is proving tricky...
Decided I needed to top up my credits after running through the Type-10 / DBX reviews, so figured the FDL was next - easy, it's a ship I've had for a long time and know quite well (in my humble opinion).
Wrote the script for it and then saw the release date for update 18 - figured it was wise to hold off on recording anything in case one of the new ships arrived - they didn't, so I cracked on earlier in the week.
Then FDev released more information on the Python MK2 a few days later, including some bits that directly goes against what I've written about the FDL. Bugger.
Just re-recorded it ,so hopefully it won't be much longer before the next drop - at least I've got (hopefully) all the stock footage I need, so it'll just be a case of stitching it all together.
I know I could have gone with the original script and could have completed the video by now, but as much as the odd mistake creeps in, I really didn't want to knowingly say something incorrect.
TLDR - FDL review delayed by recent updates and news :D
As always, much love and o7 😁

Thank you.
Today marks the second year that this channel has existed and whilst it took a year to find my feet (there's a stack of removed videos that just didn't *work*), this last year has been brilliant - I'm still learning, but with every video I learn a new technique to add into the editing arsenal.
But all of it would be for nothing without the views, the subs and the comments. Actually that's a lie - I've enjoyed putting these together either way, but I certainly wouldn't have had the motivation to keep up a vague schedule, and wouldn't have got the enjoyment that I've had from the discussions. But either way, without you, this corner of the internet would be a lot more lonely and a lot smaller.
So to you all, I raise a glass and say, thank you. Thank you for sticking around, commenting, sharing and all that. Sincerely, I mean it.
As for what's next, at some point between Christmas and New Year I'll be releasing a review of the Federal Corvette. There MAY also be something else before then, but I'm not entirely sure - as I'm sure you can imagine, it's a pretty busy time of year with family, friends and wrapping up the day-job for the year, but I've had a few ideas kicking around for a while so if I get a chance I'll put one of them into the editor.
Aside from that, as always, much love and o7

Hi there - just a quick update to what's going on...
At the moment, I'm running through creating the review for the Adder - it'll be a few days late this time as I've had a cold which isn't exactly great for recording audio, but that's all passing now, so should have that ready for upload next week at some point.
After that, I'm thinking that I'll have a look at either the Federal Gunship or Federal Assault Ship - there's been a couple of Imperial ships back to back recently so it's only fair that we give the Federation some attention. Once that's done we'll be heading close to the end of the year, so I may end with the review of something a bit larger than other recent ships.
I've also been revisiting some scripts that I started putting together before the ship reviews started - won't see anything from those anytime soon, but it's all a work in progress.
Have a bloody good week, and hopefully catch you in the near future.

Hi there you beautiful people...
Apologies that things are a little slow this month - August is a pretty busy month, so it's a case of squeezing some editing time in when I can.
Next video is nearly completed - it'll be for the Diamondback Scout and hopefully live by next Tuesday with any luck. After that I'm thinking either something Mamba shaped or something made by Saud Kruger (I've got a few scripts on the go at the moment).
We're nearly at the halfway point now for ship reviews in the Elite galaxy - I've got a few ideas for things to do afterwards - some you might see before the reviews are completed, some you almost certainly won't - really depends on how long they take to put together and if they tie into the current stuff. Open to ideas if there are any games you want me to take a look at - I did take a look at Starship Simulator last month, which is a game that shows a lot of promise, so I'll also be circling back to that at *some* point.
If you've not seen any of the recent vids, I've done the Cobra and Type-7 recently - the Cobra especially I enjoyed putting together as that ship has a decent amount of lore behind it.
That aside - hope you're all having a brilliant week and I'll catch you soon <3

Hi there!
Running a little late with the next review - blame technical difficulties and real life getting in the way. Either way, hoping to have it up early next week - next review is going to be looking at arguably the Python's greatest rivel - the Krait MK2. Hopefully should be a good one.
Have a good weekend y'all.

G'day - it's been a month since posting one of these - both the Viper MK4 and Type-6 have been released if you've not seen them already.
As for what's next, I'm just working through the Imperial Courier at the moment - usually I try to release every other Friday, but this time round it'll be a couple of days late. It's not all bad news though - reason it's late is that my editing PC has been undergoing some surgery - the aging 1050 Ti that it had before is no more and I've now thrown an AMD RX5700 XT into it.
Why is this good news I hear you ask? Because it means I can capture content on the same PC that I do the bulk of my editing on and with that, it runs at a solid 60fps throughout - with higher graphics quality than my laptop can muster.
Still going to be working with 1080p for the time being, but this does also mean that when I get a screen refresh, I'll be able to look at increasing the resolution too.
If you've got any ships that you want me to look at after the Imperial Courier, let me know - the only ship I can't do at this point is the Cobra MK4, which unless FDev change the rules on it, I'll never be able to work on that one.
Thanks for reading, hope you're all having a cracking day.

Editing Update! With the Anaconda video finally released, I've got two videos on the go at the moment - the Viper MK4 and the Type-6 Transporter. Can't believe how nice it is to be back in a Viper, even if it is the slower and less agile one.
Viper MK4 is fully scripted and I'll be sticking the edit together this week - hopefully released by next weekend if all the stars align correctly (odds of that happening? No idea). As for the Type-6 it's in early scripting at the moment - making a fairly basic transport ship sound interesting is....well it's interesting.
That aside, hope you've had a good weekend and I'll see you all out in the black. o7

Soon....
Just working on the final tweaks / renders for the Anaconda review - should be ready by the weekend with any luck (aiming for Friday, but may wind up being the weekend depending on tweaks). It's a fair bit longer than the other reviews - 13 minutes rather than the usual 5-8 minutes. Hopefully you'll still enjoy it though.
After this, I'm thinking Viper MK4 - or maybe something a bit "tradey" like the Type-6, since I've not really covered any non-combat / non-multirole ships yet.
Did try something a little different a couple of weeks ago - outlining something from my Elite wishlist (https://youtu.be/Yi_kn4nZGiQ) - looks like the algorithm wasn't a fan of it, but I'll probably do a few more anyway between the larger reviews, since it was fairly quick to produce on the side of gathering Anaconda footage. Plus it gave me an excuse to play Star Wars : Rogue Squadron in the name of gathering footage.
Thanks for taking the time to read this rambling - catch you on the upcoming video...

Thanks for stopping by! I like games. I especially like messing around with spaceships in games, but all games are potentially good.
If I've played something and I have something I want to share, it'll end up on here - expect mostly Elite Dangerous content, but with other bits thrown in when the mood takes me. I may not be the most talented player of games, but for me, it's the enjoyment that really matters.
Hope you enjoy what you find - if you want to reach out, go for it via any of the means listed on here.
