The Marinersâ Museum and Park connects people to the worldâs waters because that is how we are connected to one another.
As stewards of one of the worldâs most extensive maritime collections, The Marinersâ Museum and Park is committed to the preservation and conservation of more than 32,000 objects and several million library and archive materials. Designated by Congress as Americaâs National Maritime Museum, the Museum provides access to the collection through exhibitions, educational programs, loans, publications, and online media. The 550-acre Marinersâ Park is home to the 167-acre Marinersâ Lake, 5-mile Noland Trail, iconic Lions Bridge, and our âliving collectionâ: the forest, water, and wildlife that we proudly steward, as well.
The Museumâs signature $1 admission price is a symbol â it represents our mission and purpose, and serves as a reminder that through our shared connection to the worldâs waters, we are ONE city, ONE region, ONE nation and ONE world.
