Hi again everyone. I've been on a stargazing kick lately and wanted to try out some new equipment. This image of the moon was just taken. The phase is called Waxing Gibbous at 11.7 days old. The equipment used was a Nikon D200 and a Celestron C90 at prime focus. Sorry that the channel has been quiet lately. I will try to post more rocket stuff in the near future. Take care and be safe out there.

Hi everyone,
I did some stargazing a few nights ago and had the chance to spot the planet Mercury close to the western horizon just after sunset. The picture was taken one day before greatest eastern elongation. Although Mercury appears only as a small point of light, it is a thrill to even see it at all.

I discovered that The Wall Street Journal is doing a piece about the nostalgia of model rockets of the 1980's. A photo editor asked permission to embed my Saturn V video. It would be really neat if it makes the cut for their story. Anyway, just a heads up if anyone likes to read about model rockets of times past. Take care everyone!

This channel is an attempt to share my experiences with low power model rockets with those who enjoy the hobby. I would describe myself as a born again rocketeer, meaning that my enthusiasm for the hobby has been rekindled. My intent is to keep this channel simple and to the point, but comments (positive or otherwise) are always welcome. There aren't any rocket clubs in my area so I normally launch alone. I hope to improve the channel quality over time once work and family life isn't so busy. If you are looking for great model rocket content I suggest looking up ModelRockets321. Keith has a good channel over there. Thanks for visiting and be safe out there!
