Did you know of the SEGA Pico? it uses the same hardware as Genesis/Mega Drive, it was a touch pad console mainly for educational games, there was a couple of Sonic games on it *Sonic's Game World, Tails the Music Maker* and believe it or not even a Pokemon game in 2004, even got a Pikachu edition of the system, it was discontinued in 1998 in the US/UK but in Japan like the Saturn it had a extended life and lasted up till 2005...think about it, SEGA were still making these touch pad systems *which use Genesis/Mega Drive hardware..* during the time the Nintendo DS came out....

along with Sega Saturn itself.
Project Sonic is a mod I'm making to restore the lost Saturn version of Sonic Adventure we would of gotten on Saturn if Sonic Team didn't move to Dreamcast.
