I've been taking a bit of a break from the usual acoustic cover grind, but will be posting covers again soon. In the meantime, I guested in one of my friends' bands with some backing vocals and guitar! Check out Highteens' 'Burnout'.

Iduna has released another video! This one features me on lead guitar. This song and video might be the best we've ever done, and even after listening to it a million times it still hits me hard. I'd really appreciate it if you checked it out.
In other news, the new space has been acquired (as evidenced by the swath of new videos lately) so I can once again return to a bit more of a consistent cover video schedule, for whatever it's worth. So glad to have a studio again.

Big news coming soon on a new dedicated music space... so I can finally resume my irregularly scheduled cover videos. For now, I'm limping along, and should have a new Queens cover coming in the next little bit.

Been a little quiet over here as I slowly descend into madness at work. Life is extremely busy, but here's a bit of silliness from my main band, Iduna!
Back when the studio was kicking us out, decided that having a food fight would be an appropriate last thing to film in our doomed home away from home. It's taken a while to sort out all the footage, but the result is.. better than (🤣) I could have hoped.
Here's hoping all y'all get a kick out of our shenanigans.

In the meantime, my band Iduna has finally released our latest EP, 'Origins'. This is mostly comprised of songs that we had recorded/were in the process of recording in early 2020 and well, things got a little derailed. Hi friends (old and new!)
You might have noticed it's been a bit quiet here after posting pretty regularly for the past few years. I'm not dead, but the building that my bands studio was in has been sold, and we've being kicked out so that they can build a church. Unfortunately, the Toronto music rehearsal space sphere is in real rough shape, and we haven't found an appropriate new place to set up shop yet.
I've been taking a bit of a break from videos to wrap up some band projects before the move-out date, and to figure out what the heck I'm going to do going forward. My apartment has paper-thin walls and my singing voice is very loud, so I'm hoping to figure out something that doesn't make everyone around me want to kick my door down when I do the 10th take of a song.
Rest assured, I will be posting new covers in the future... just might take a little bit.
In the meantime, here's an outtake from an upcoming Iduna video we're shooting before we have to leave.

Just a place for me to post some covers I feel like playing every now and then.
Trying not to take it too seriously, but hopefully I get better at recording myself.
Everything is done in one take with no major editing. No comping or tuning.
