With the video single âRealm of the Ravenâ, DEEP IMAGINATION continues its series of impressive videos. The artists find themselves in the unmistakable sound world of gothic, dark wave and ambient that Thorsten Sudler-Mainz has created with his solo project.
Together with guitarist Achim von Raesfeld, the DEEP IMAGINATION creator plays, celebrates and produces this state and invents an enchanted place in the 'Realm of the Raven' that you won't want to leave in a hurry.
In the video âRealm of the Ravenâ, the amazing, psychedelic images are accompanied by extremely emotional music. A dark wave sound reminiscent of early Dead Can Dance transitions into a floydian and anthemic resolution.

"The Silence of Winterland" is a darkly romantic love song. The lyrics deal with the inevitable transience of love and the fact that lovers reunite at some point after death in a cold paradise, the winterland.

DEEP IMAGINATION played live at album release party
On Saturday 15.07.2023 the release party for the new album "The Children of the Moon" by DEEP IMAGINATION took place.
Together with guitarist Achim von Raesfeld (electric guitar) mastermind Thorsten Sudler-Mainz (vocals, electric guitar, keys) presented five tracks from the new album live.

The anthemic "Find Your Own Way", which stands for individual decision and freedom, is carried by an atmospheric sound foundation and features DEEP IMAGINATION's typical vocals, intoned by mastermind Thorsten Sudler-Mainz with his partner Ann Kareen Mainz.
In the interplay with guest guitarist Achim von Raesfeld, the multi-instrumentalist creates timeless, gentle wave guitar sounds that hark back to their times together in the eighties.
The influences of revered greats like Dead Can Dance or The Chameleons are always present and point to the upcoming album (release date: 2023), on which DEEP IMAGINATION will present a style even more strongly influenced by Dark Wave. (BSC Music/Prudence)
