The PULSE Project is as an empowering experience, created by Artistic Director Brook Notary. Our mission is to shed new light on the daring art of pole dancing. We aim to inspire our audiences and begin to break the stereotypes associated with this art form.

Our vision is to produce six shows between 2013 and 2014, in productions collectively called the Underground Series. Each show of the series is meant to have snippets that will serve as excerpts for the culminating fifth show, our currently untitled off-Broadway show. Each piece of the Underground Series embodies the stories of women in New York City and is meant to depict the comings and goings of the subground world of this city as a metaphor of womanhood in an urban environment.
