Make48 is an event spotlighting making and invention in a timed product creation challenge. Teams receive a product challenge and compete to plan, prototype and pitch a product idea in a 48 hour innovation weekend.
The twist is that the teams do actually have to build anything. They come up with the ideas and our Tool Techs who are experts in their trades bring the ideas to life in a physical prototype.
It's enlightening to watch what is possible in just 48 hours when you have a makerspace full of tools and equipment and the teams can collaborate with the experts.
