Mango came to us around 8 weeks old and was instantly finger tamed. He understands and obeys a lot of my commands making us think he is part human. His first words were "Kiss Kiss" and his vocabulary has been increasing weekly. As of July 29, 2013 at 21 months old, he has a vocabulary of at least 132 words and can say 142 different phrases and sentences. This chatty avian speaks mainly in English but can also count in Cantonese. Mango is out most of the day and only goes back into his cage to eat, drink, rest and sleep. What a wonderful life!

The night of August 26, 2013, Blueberry, a male budgie, became a new addition to our family. Blueberry's age is unclear because his previous owner didn't want him anymore other than their newly purchased Pomeranian puppy was constantly barking at the bird and brought him back to the store where he was purchased 1 1/2 years ago.
