Our archive and library offer unparalleled reserves of data and knowledge relating to the evolution of maritime safety, and the complex factors that have driven and continue to drive this process today. The Heritage and Education Centre will mine these reserves for insight that can help to shape a safer future.
In order to shape this future, the Heritage & Education Centre undertakes a diverse range of activities, from research and outreach projects to grant funding initiatives. All of these activities utilise the unique networks of both the Lloyd's Register Foundation and Lloyd's Register Group, ensuring HEC can play an active role in telling the story of the evolution of maritime safety on a global scale.
