David Amaro is a World Class musician and the first guitarist to fuse Jazz, Rock and Brazilian music in his sound and style. He began playing at the age of 9 studying with master of the 7-string guitar and veteran of the 1930's, George Van Eps. During his teens he played in rock and jazz bands and regularly at Disneyland. His first professional tours were with Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers and International singing star Andy Williams. David has recorded and performed with such notables as Airto Moreira, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Herbie Hancock, George Duke, Wayne Shorter, Hermeto Pascoal, Sérgio Mendes, Joe Henderson, Chuck Rainey, Quincy Jones, Stanley Clarke, Sonny Rollins, Ron Carter, Michel LeGrand, Eumir Deodato, Cal Tjader, Milton Nascimento, Egberto Gismonti, Dori Caymmi, Dave Grusin, Alphonso Johnson, Bennie Maupin and many others. He plays a variety of guitars including acoustic, electric, twelve-string and cavaquinho.
