I was one of the pioneers in video surgery (laparoscopy) in Brazil in the 90s, founding partner of the Brazilian Society of Laparoscopic Surgery (SOBRACIL) and former President of the American Society of Hernia (AHS), from which I recently received an award for my contribution to wall hernia treatments.
Today, with more than 10,000 surgeries, I use this channel to teach some of what I have learned and continue to learn about abdominal wall repair, hernioplasty, laparoscopic, robotic and gastrointestinal surgeries.
