A channel with places contained in the area called "Bohemian Paradise" (Český Ráj). This is a Protected Landscape Area (in czech: Chráněná Krajinná Oblast), established in 1955. It is located about 90 km northeast of the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, between the towns of Mladá Boleslav, Mnichovo Hradiště, Turnov, Železný Brod, Semily, Nová Paka, Jičín, Sobotka and Dolní Bousov, with an area of 181 square kilometers. It is distinguished by a high concentration of natural, historical and technical monuments.
