What is it like to be an illustrator?
Iāve been illustrating childrenās books for over 25 years, & been part of artist communities is really important for mental health and creativity. I still find watching videos that teach me to illustrate are really helpful, even though Iāve been āat itā for so long. If you are wondering how to work as an illustrator, or wondering how to go about finding an illustrator for a childrenās book that youāve written, I may be able to help.
I mostly work on my own stories, but I do consultation work and illustrate other peopleās books, so drop me a line.

People describe me as a quirky, whimsical artist, and I try to make uplifting and enthusiastic videos as a childrenās illustrator. I often spend days wondering how can I be a faerie, as I feel that is my true identity. I need a treehouse in the woods and forest friends! Iād like to bake for the community and mostly hibernate during winter. And have acorn hats :)
