From our Sun to planets, Coriolis force, Lagrange point, Space, space travel, time travel, the book is full of mind-blowing information.

Simple but not too simplistic, explained in a way that makes concepts easy to understand,
peppered with gentle humor and stories - and that’s typical Tyson style.

It’s a great introduction to the subject and will get even non-science-inclined readers
genuinely interested in astronomy.

Very enjoyable, clear and a fantastic read (for kids too 12+ I believe).

I highly recommend this book - To Infinity And Beyond by Neil Degrasse Tyson. ‪@NeildeGrasseTysonVideos‬

This is another amazing book by Jim Al-Khalili. He is one of my top ten favorite science writers and speakers, he is a natural teacher.

If you haven’t already then, Quantum Physics is a very fascinating topic to learn - it is used everywhere - from MRI machines to computers… oh and let’s not forget Hollywood movies ;-)

I understand that not all knowledge can be used in our jobs or to earn money and yet knowledge can still be gained out of sheer curiosity and wonder about the world around and within us.

There is a lot I want to say about this topic, the book, about Jim and his other books that I have enjoyed reading… but it will be a very long post so I will keep it for my vlog entry (sometime next year :-))

Do check out this book and also documentaries (on Prime video and Youtube), and his lectures and talks on YouTube (specially done for Royal Institution).

This is the first time that I read a 3D book and absolutely enjoyed the experience. #WelcomeToTheUniverse3D

There is a built-in stereo viewer at the back that folds easily out of the cover of the book.

Adjust the distance between your eyes and the viewer, hold it at a couple of inches and then slowly bring it closer to your eyes.
Don’t blink too much, relax your eyes, and BOOM!

Be privy to the most spectacular sights in the cosmos. Journey from the Moon through the solar system, out to exoplanets, distant nebulas, and galaxy clusters, until you finally reach the cosmic microwave background radiation (or CMB), the most distant light we can observe.

Along the way, the authors explain the fascinating features of what we are seeing.

The original non-3D version of this book is also mind blowing - a one volume summary of modern astronomy written by some of the best in the field - @neildegrassetyson @jrichardgott @michaelstrauss @robertvanderbei

I would love to know what you are reading these days, do share in the comments section. Happy reading!
