Ever notice volume levels are way too quiet or way too loud when your ipod is on shuffle? Believe it or not it's actually the 'quiet' songs that are superior.
Since the early 1990's, music has been losing it's 'Dynamic Range', with literally every genre being affected. (Google "Loudness War")
Music has become over-compressed. This practice sounds awful & literally leaves you fatigued after listening to your favorite music up loud.
My channel has strictly uploads of songs with natural Dynamic Range. Pick a song to hear the difference. It's much different from what you're used to. The music has more separation & clarity, that is even evident through YouTube.
It's not the vinyl adding the dynamics, I use vinyl files because record companies generally master the vinyl properly vs the digital version. This is the problem, the digital copies should look like this but don't.
