Now that I've finished playing through the new Riven for the first time, I'm going to play through it again tomorrow!

Looks like some things are happening in the Myst world, so it's time for a channel update.
First of course, Cyan just announced a few days ago that the Riven remake will be released on June 25th! That is much sooner than I expected. I will be streaming it here on this channel once it comes out, but since it will apparently have some new puzzles, I'll give you a few weeks to have a crack at them first. I'm not going to wait too long though or else the hype will die down before I even start.
Second, the Visions of Myst video I posted last year suddenly caught some favorable winds in the algorithm. That means people have been leaving a lot of well thought out comments on it lately, which is the exact discussion I was hoping to stimulate. There's way too much for me to type out responses to, so instead I'll post a vlog so I can speak off the cuff.
Third, I need to give you guys an update on how Episode 2 is coming along. I'll probably do a vlog sorta video for that one too.

You may have noticed that the archive of my marathon live stream doesn't play.
This is because YouTube limits videos to 12 hours in length while the stream lasted 21.5 hours.
Fortunately I recorded it myself separately and will be uploading it in segments to my secondary streaming channel as soon as I can. However, I'm backlogged at the moment and am still uploading streams from November.

I was supposed to post this video two weeks ago.
But instead I endured the most frustrating wrestling match with my video editor I've ever had. After a dozen or so attempts at rendering the video, each which takes many hours, I finally had a video ready, which YouTube then stalled out uploading at 97%. So I had to do it all over again which took all day.
So now it's Sunday night in the U.S., and I could publish it right now. But this is statistically the worst possible time for view count potential, so I'm not going to waste all my efforts over the last two months on that.
It's going up, guaranteed, Thursday morning at 6am CST.
