QUESTION for you
Have you ever been to Bulgaria?
This weekend I'll be publishing a few videos from Sunny Beach and Nessebar in Bulgaria
It's a bit of an unknown quantity for me on this channel as I'm not sure how many people have been or want to go or even know about it yet

Sunny Beach grows in popularity every year and is now an extremely value for money affordable destination that has something for everyone, so I hopped on a plane to film a few walks around there to show you and maybe it could be a future holiday?

A pint of beer was around £1.30 in Sunny Beach, and a meal in a restaurant about £10/£15 so very good value for money

The beach is soft and golden, and I took a water taxi across the sea to beautiful Old Town Nessebar to show you around there too (unmissable video this one!)

So stay tuned and come watch with an open mind as I show you around Sunny Beach and Nessebar in Bulgaria - let's learn together about this fun place!

Out this weekend on the Gimbal Walk TV YouTube Channel 👍🏻

CONTROVERSY!! 😮 Today I've published a video all about Sheffield City Centre.
The idea is to have a walk through the city, take a look at the new developments and to show people what Sheffield is like.

Sadly Sheffield has THE most toxic online communities of all the towns and cities in the UK.
If you say anything positive about the city you'll be jumped on by these people who sit at home shooting down any positivity about the city.

They'll tell you that Sheffield is litter strewn, is full of homeless, or drunks, or beggars looking to attack you, yet if you actually go into the city centre you'll soon see that what they're saying is NOT true in the slightest.

Take a look at today's video for example and you'll see the city centre is immaculately clean. Not a spot of litter in the whole hour video. But these people wont' accept that.

It's so toxic and so disappointing

Out of all the places I film, Sheffield is the only place you're guaranteed to immediately get hateful, negative toxic comments by people who claim Sheffield is bad (it isn't - it's a fine fine city)

The city of Sheffield is great, warm, welcoming, has some fantastic new redevelopments and nearly every visitor to the city loves the place.

Students come to Sheffield and most of them end up staying they love it that much.

People with fresh eyes will come to Sheffield and see the City Hall, The Town Hall, the Canal Wharf area, the new gray to green development bringing green spaces into the city, the musuems, the theatres, the winter gardens, the peace gardens, the new hotel that's just opened etc and LOVE the city

But there's still this strange weird toxic community online that will look for any opportunity to try and tell you Sheffield is horrific.

What I would always say is never listen to people online about Sheffield - instead either visit and see it for yourself, or watch my videos that show the actual REALITY (I don't CGI anything, don't edit anything out or put anything in - what you see in my video is what was really there when I filmed Sheffield) and make your own minds up

Are these toxic social media people right about Sheffield?

Nope!

And todays video will show you why you should never pay any attention to a word they furiously type!

I don't (and never will) make videos that are negative, or that cater to the negative people online. Never have. Never will.

Normally I would never even acknowledge negative people online but I think in this case I needed to just speak up for the Sheffielders and the visitors to Sheffield that absolutely love this city because it's a great friendly, positive city with lovely people and lots to see and do.

This channel is a happy, positive one and always will be!

Hope you enjoy the video - I certainly really enjoyed visiting Sheffield to film it!

Enjoy x

Hey everyone,
Just checking in to say that I hope you have had a great weekend and to give a few updates for you on the channel.

Since last Christmas I've (somehow) managed to do daily uploads on the channel which, if I was stood in my kitchen chatting about cameras or tech or something would be a real tough ask, but to also include the travel that I do, the driving, the actual filming, the editing, the video exporting, the uploading, the artwork, the descriptions etc is absolutely bananas!!

But I've managed it and I've hopefully brought you some happy, gentle tours of places around the UK and beyond.

The challenge for me now is to find places that make me excited to visit. I've seen much of the UK (still lots and lots of new places to discover) and I really want to head further afield to explore new places.

Some of these places you might not be interested in seeing but it's incredibly important for it to be new, exciting and fun for me every day otherwise the channel would become an unbearable amount of travel and work. I need to enjoy where I go for sure!

So as the summer ends and the autumn/winter kicks in I have set a plan that will involve the UK as much as humanly possible, and then a few trips abroad into sunnier weather as I can't really film in the rain that well and when I do people don't really watch it as I don't think people like being reminded of how gloomy places can be in the rain! 🤣

This week for example it's looking grim weather-wise in the UK (or at least the parts that I've not filmed very recently) so I"m going to jump on a plane and head for Bulgaria for a week to film and get some sunshine.

I'll be filming a series of videos from there that will be on the channel in a few weeks (I don't always upload videos the day that I film them - sometimes I don't get chance to edit them for a while - in fact I've still got about 75 videos from Spain that I filmed over there back in March!)

So be prepared for a real mixed bag of places. I"ll try and make it as interesting and exciting as possible, and will be dropping in some familiar favourites as well as lots and lots of brand new places I've never been before.

Anyway - enough about the channel. That will always be here, and will always be bringing you walks in fab places.

How about you?

Did you have a good weekend?

Did you go anywhere?

And if you have any ideas of places that I've not filmed yet (check my channel to see!) then let me have your ideas, suggestions and tips below and I'll film as many of them as humanly possible (if the weather is good there when I need to film of course!)

As for Bulgaria - I fly tomorrow and it's a place I've never been so wish me luck as I tick off another country

Hope you have a lovely lovely week. Keep smiling, Be happy, and KEEP ON WALKING! 🚶‍♂️

Hello friends! 👍🏻
Last weekend I did a very rapid 24 hour trip to Portugal to film a fun and exciting music video for a great upcoming band.

Flew on Saturday out to Portugal, did a full on rapid music video shoot on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning and then flew back to the UK with some amazing footage

I'll post the video on the Gimbal Walk TV Socials when it's released by the band - it's going to be a cracker and a very fun video to watch!

Hope you're well and having a great week and thanks as always for your support of my channel - some cracking videos coming up this week on Gimbal Walk TV!

THE LAKE DISTRICT
The new series is here!
In the next few videos we will be exploring one of the most beautiful places in the whole world (no exaggeration).
We will take walks through the little towns and villages around the lakes and of course down to the water and the lakes themselves

I hope you enjoy - am keen to hear your suggestions on whereabouts in the Lakes we should visit in this series?
