The Jr. NBA is the league's global youth development program that promotes basketball participation and an active lifestyle among children. Currently conducted in six countries across Asia: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, participants are trained in the fundamentals of basketball and learn about the importance of nutrition, as well as the Jr. NBA's core S.T.A.R (sportsmanship, teamwork, a positive attitude and respect) values.
