He graduated in composition from the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia and completed his theological studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University and the Pontifical Biblical Institute.
He carries out his ministry in the Diocese of Rome. He is the Rector of the Basilica of Santa Cecilia in Trastevere and a Consultant for the Dicastery for Evangelization.
Author of well-known and appreciated liturgical songs in Italy and abroad, in 1984 he founded the Choir of the Diocese of Rome. He has composed the soundtracks for over thirty films on historical and religious themes, Sacred Oratorios inspired by biblical characters or the lives of great saints, and theatrical works such as “The Divine Comedy”, “In hoc Signo”, and “Passio Christi”, which have been performed both in Italy and abroad.
For years, he has brought his experience as a priest and musician to many parishes and dioceses in Italy and abroad through concerts and the preaching of Spiritual Exercises courses for priests and laypeople.
