What length of video do you prefer to watch on my channel, long format (8 mins plus) or short format (2-5 mins)? I'm thinking on changing the channel up a little as viewer analytics show the average view duration is 3 minutes, however it's impossible to cram everything in to that time in my videos, so perhaps I could produce smaller length videos instead but upload more regularly additional small content videos.
What do you folks think?

To all my 20,403 subscribers, I want to wish you a very Happy New Year for 2023. Since my first Aviation Upload to my channel 8 months ago, its fair to say a lot has happened since. I hadn't planned on spending lots of money upgrading from my already expensive first camcorder to the fully functioning video rig set up nor did I plan on buying a custom made platform roof rack for my van just so I can have the ability to record over the fences at RAF Lakenheath etc and Conningsby. But then I also didn't anticipate how much my channel would grow in this time. Some of my videos have been picked up by other aviation dedicated channels whom have a much MUCH larger subscriber count (one of the channels has 1.5 Million of them). This has been a huge learning curve but I have enjoyed learning new skills and progressing upon each video with the help of my amazing girlfriend.
I have a new video out tomorrow (Monday 2nd 2023) and then another video Monday 9th 2023. Both of these were recorded in the final weekend of 2022 but will be the first videos of 2023๐.
I want to thank you all for everything in 2022, nothing would have been possible without your support. And all the best for 2023, a new year with a lot of content lined up.

Why do I shoot in 1080p60fps instead of higher quality?
Well I do not see any benefit to higher resolution videography if the majority of people these days watch videos on a compressed mobile phone. I opt for a more smoother flush flow to my work, so the 60 frames per second is in my opinion, more crucial for my viewers.
Why do you provide this content?
Because I am a plane geek, always have been really as far as I can remember. I'm a aviation photographer in my spare time, why not try recording instead!
