Hi everybody just a quick update before christmas..i did plan on having another video out before the christmas period with a little christmas message & a thanks for all the support this last year..
But last week i was put on my backside for the best part of a week with the nora virus & and the last two week ive not been out at all with having the illness then back at work.
Im unfortunately working over the Christmas period too but ive got my fingers & toes crossed that i can get out inbetween christmas & the new year.
Anyways I've had a fantastic 2024 with many adventures & the highlight being the west highland way back in april..i hope you've all enjoyed watching this year & there's plenty plans in place for 2025.
The channel has recently hit 13k subs too which im massively greatful of..so i just want to say a massive thanks to all of you ,merry christmas all the best for 2025 & the best of health to you all..

Keep an eye out for my next up coming video where im in the lake district testing out the new @durstongear X-Dome in some proper winter conditions..im pleased to report it passed with flying colours in some serious strong gale force winds this morning & coupled with heavy snow it was blizzard conditions..
The first real taste of winter lets hope there's plenty more to come & just as important lets all stay safe ❄️🏔🥾⛺️

So I'm dialling in the kit a little over the next couple of camps ready for a 5 day trip with @PaulMessner I'm not one usually for weighing the kit but 8.3kg ain't bad..included in this weight is the drone/controller & some other bits of heavier electricals etc of which I won't be taking on said trip..so along with a few other bits of new kit that I'm hoping arrive in time I'm hoping to get the weight down to around 7kg 👌

So as we're now officially in spring wether astronomical or meteorological I wonder if I can get away with my 3 season kit..with overnight temps of 6 degs forecast over to the east we shall soon find out..I've a couple new lightweight pieces of kit on test so it'll be an interesting night..10kg all in including 3 litre of water & food..let's get gone #wildcamping #getoutside #getoutdoors

Had another cracking walk out in the Lake District yesterday..however no camping again unfortunately due to the 50mph + gusting winds..I did take the camera along however & the vid from the walk will be live at 6pm tonight..I mention in the video how I got some great comments from my hike up helvellyn boxing day & how quite a few mention you'd like to see some hiking videos thrown in to mix it up with the camping vids..if that's something you guys would like to see in future get in the comments on this video & let me know...atb & stay safe out there 👍

I just want to take this opportunity to say I hope everyone is doing well & you've all had a great Xmas.. I wish you all the best for the new year & the best of health to everyone for 2023..
I've got the small issue of being back at wrk over the new year on night shift starting tonite 🙄😫 so hope you all have a great new year.
With the conditions being as they've been over the Xmas period it's been difficult to get a camp in but on boxing day I did head to the lakes for an excellent mountain hike.
Testing conditions saw constant 50mph winds & blizzard conditions on the Helvellyn range but me being me I embraced it & enjoyed every second..See a few pics below from the hike..I did film the walk so the vid will be up at 6pm tonite where you'll get a good idea of how the conditions were up there..
So on that note I want to thank everyone of you for the support this last year in 2022 & I'm eagerly anticipating a great 2023..

Video's of my wildcamps mainly the wonderful peak district but i also love to get further afield.The lake district,yorkshire dales,north york moors & the cheviots are all places i like to get to & enjoy the wonderful landscapes & scenery of which they have to offer.i always try to capture these places the best i can to show people just what a beautiful country we live in.
