Wanted to update people on the state of the channel. I mostly have not been uploading anything unless it was tied specifically regarding modifying my E39. Currently the car is at a stand still as I'm practically done with the exterior, interior work still needs to be done but no real plans to start it any time soon.

In regards to content for the channel this started with a focus on gaming for me but slowly incorporated automotive stuff with random things here and there. I have always been heavily into pool (billiards) and play league and tournaments weekly. I am toying with the idea of recording pool content or just recording my matches and uploading them.

I'm a full time real estate photographer and have considered uploading content around that as well but feel it wouldn't really fit what I do here so I created a secondary channel for if / when I decided to move forward with that idea. That channel can be found here ā€Ŗ@MysticMedia_ā€¬.

Overall, I'm not really playing enough games to produce gaming content as I am either working, or playing pool. I do still stream but it's EXTREMELY varied usually only Fridays / Saturdays.

This week has seen a huge lack of anything from me whether it be streaming wise on twitch or just a few casual uploads here on YT. I contracted a pretty severe case of Covid on Monday and it has since spread to my wife and our kids. Iā€™ve been bed ridden for the majority of the time only being able to get up and about for 40 ish minutes before my body just shuts down again.

Iā€™m always around in my discord if anyone wants to chat. Going to try and stream tonight but no promises.

Widebody over fenders are officially painted. Just have to do a round of wet sand and another round of clear coat. Pickup is slated for Saturday and man I canā€™t wait to see these on the car.

Primer is down on the E39 overfenders. My painter said heā€™s on track for me to pick them up this next weekend and man I canā€™t wait.

Apologies for the abrupt pause of the BMW content again. As you know mods / builds cost money and to be frank I canā€™t just throw money at this car when I want. I have a wife and kids, buying a house and land which is more important than car stuff right now. Wide body kit is still planned for sure but itā€™s a few more months out so be patient please.

I also landed some pretty big photography and cinematography jobs where I canā€™t give too much info. All I can say is SEMAā€¦ if you know you know.

My usual content will still be uploaded but until I have the spare cash flow for car stuff thatā€™s back burner for now.

As yā€™all know I like to do in car video ā€œcar vlogsā€ as I refer to them. Where I just drive around talk about random talking points. I have always recorded them with my GoPro Hero 3+ black as the driving cam and my very old hero 2 as face cam. Well yesterday I bit the bullet and grabbed an Osmo Action for some 4k video to up the quality of these driving videos. The hero 3+ now will be a face cam which will be more than sufficient.

POLL: I can finally make a substantial upgrade to my recording equipment for my car videos. I have 2 options to choose from the new Sony A6100 (eye auto focus and far better continuous focus) which will be better for my photography and also does 4k video which means higher quality car videos. The other option is the new DJI Air 2S to get nice cinematics while at car meets and scenic drives due to the tracking features. If you had the option which would you choose and why?

Itā€™s been raining a ton here this week. If tomorrow or Sunday is good I will be trying to do a DIY install on these since this is what yā€™all want to see.

Looking for some community feedback regarding what type of car content you all enjoy more. Naturally this is going to refer to my E39. It's car show season again in Texas so the photography videos will pick up more once I start getting out more to those.
