Remember you can always use less lights reduce the overlap and use the source length to stretch the light source along with the candles and distance field optimizations to get a much cheaper cost with a very similar look.

Great watch. Great coverage on 8th gen rendering optimizations in UE4. While this is more of a review of a game that follows good practices it also goes into showing examples of early z, AA modifications for better quality and quad overdraw as I've discussed in my previous 2 videos on UE5 and UE4 optimization. I'll continue to do videos that cover how to apply some of these options into your workflows.

Remember to convert your BSPs to static meshes to understand true performance. BSP's cannot instance properly and cost more. Do not ship a project with BSPs
