Goops Unlimited publishers Barbara Ross and Nicholas Beatty have embarked upon a crusade to bring proper manners and polite behavior back into the lives of contemporary families. Their contribution is the re-release of the original Goops and How To Be Them, the original watercolor children's book, A Treasury of Goops, and Goop Tales: Alphabetically Told.

"Goops" are a series of books written about manners and etiquette more than 100 years ago by Gelett Burgess. The cheerful illustrations and happy rhymes which conveyed good manners in years past, still apply today, and are timeless in the lessons that they teach.

Unlike more formal books about manners and polite behavior, the books presented by Goops Unlimited regard these rules as a part of everyone's lives.
