No challenge, no demystification, no secrets. Chinese food is just one of the daily food types for multi-billion people on this planet. I would like to share with you the culture which is treated as common sense by everyday Chinese people.
My western friends keep asking me dozens of How-To questions regarding Chinese food, such as: how to stir fry tender pork or chicken, how to cook green-leaf vegetable, how to make sure that fried rice is not sticky. I know there are hundreds of How-to food videos on YouTube. To me, Why-to is more interesting than How-to. I had been living in mainland China for over 20 years, and called Gold Coast in Australia my second hometown. I would like to share with you my own cross-cultural understanding to FOOD.
