Good NEWZ Girls, a multi-cultural foursome of singers, dancers and actors who each come from film, TV and theater-seasoned despite still being fun-loving teens. Although each girl grew up in a different American city, the group’s off-stage chemistry resembles that of best friends while the symbiosis heard on their debut EP reflects sisters who’ve sung together their entire natural lives.
Winter Getaway is a six-song holiday EP that successfully honors iconic Christmas tunes while modernizing them. Original Good NEWZ Girls songs like “Holiday Gift”–a pretty pink slip to Santa–and “Let It Snow” lead the project as perfect singles. The latter is a festive earworm, rich with enough gorgeous harmony to hug and bass to inspire dancing in the snow. Winter Getaway is the EP that keeps on giving.
