A baby bird is outside of my door on the deck. Looks like he or she is abandoned by the parents. Poor little thing.โน๏ธ

My husband found a Robin egg on the ground in our front yard, he could not find a bird nest anywhere. I asked friends and checked online, the answer is do nothing about it!๐ It might be a viable egg and I donโt want to give it up yet. Iโm going to try to hatch it myself. Here is what I am doing. See pictures.

My name is Linda. This channel is about our garden and our daily life. We hope it could bring you happiness and inspiration.
We have been gardening for many years and have planted a lot of plants including trees, shrubs, flowers, and vegetables.
Our garden attracts a lot of birds all year around. They come for plants, flowers, bird feeders, bird houses, and bird baths. Hummingbirds are permanent residents in the backyard. Sparrows, robins, blue jays, starlings, and gold finches are regular visitors. They feed, bathe and play in the garden, which brings us a lot of joy. As bird lovers, we also have two lovebirds as pets in our indoor aviary.
Periodically, we re-arrange plants and decors in the backyard to give it a makeover. We have built a tiny pond, a few water fountains, a couple bird baths and so on.....
New contents weekly.
