Clip from my first livestream in over a year! I would've posted this performance as is, except there's mic noise throughout. I'm going to finish this track and post a new video soon :)

I finally got around to making a new album. It’s music I made from February to December 2022. I’d usually try making a new album whenever I reach 30 minutes of new music, but this way I only had to make 1 cover art instead of 4!
It's up on bandcamp: ivartryti.bandcamp.com/album/ultra-happy-without-e…
And will be up on spotify soon: distrokid.com/hyperfollow/ivartryti/ultra-happy-wi…

I'm also putting it up on Bandcamp tomorrow, just in time for Bandcamp Friday :) ivartryti.bandcamp.com/
Thank you everyone for support!

I gave my first trial lesson today! 45 minutes of troubleshooting followed by half an hour of high quality knowledge transfer. Camera stand is my daughter's chair with a stick screwed to a clamp and a coaster fastened with a binder clip to rest my phone on. More info coming soon =)

Working on an Analog Heat tutorial! I've recorded the whole thing and am currently cutting pauses and editing in silence and zoom-ins. I'll be explaining:
-how I use the envelope follower as a pseudo-compressor to either duck the drive or change the dry/wet mix
-using a high-pass filter to boost the bass (along with or instead of the low EQ)
-how I use a tiny bit of Round Fuzz or High Gain along with an envelope follower on dry/wet mix
The reception to my tutorials have been really positive, so I'm pumped to get working on them again! Thank you very much for the support, everyone :)

Hello! It's Bandcamp Friday today, which means their usual 15% cut on purchases goes straight to the artists today. I have some 9 hours of music on there, and all 11 albums bundled together costs around $11, though you're free to name your price. ivartryti.bandcamp.com/album/another-full-hour
Thanks to everyone for checking out my stuff! I wouldn't have had such a good time making music if it wasn't for all the kind words in the comments and the support from my patrons. I really appreciate it :)

Taking notes for an upcoming Analog Four tutorial! The first one is gonna be a bass tutorial where I'll make a few bass sounds from scratch and explain my thought process. While exploring the A4 I found some general settings that work great for bass sounds, which I'll highlight at the start of the video. There's also some some nice textures to be found with Amplitude Modulation engaged, but I'm gonna have to explore this more before I'm confident adding it to the tutorial.
It's been a while since I made a tutorial video, since they take a lot more effort to make than my usual stuff. I'm looking forward to making this one, and I hope you'll find it useful!
And as usual, thanks for watching :)

Hello, my name is Ivar Tryti, and I make music using mainly two Elektron devices: the Digitakt and the Digitone. My main genre is downtempo trip hop, though I take a lot of inspiration from video games as well, particularly from the NES, SNES era.
I generally post 1-3 videos each week, ranging from short tracks to long tutorials.
If you want to support my work, I have a Patreon page. Supporters will get access to my samples, patches and tracks in wav format. Please consider joining if you enjoy my work!
