The Tromanale film festival lasted 10 days and, in addition to many films, also offered workshops, live music, live performance and vegan food, which was available to guests free of charge. The entire festival went non-stop and did not charge any admission. Everyone who knew about it had the opportunity to be entertained for 10 days free of charge and to eat through. The festival principle is based on the Troma Dance Festival in Salt Lake City, which takes place parallel to the Sundance Film Festival. The Tromanale Film Festival and the Troma-Dance Film Festival are open to smaller, and respectively controversial, filmmakers. At the Berlinale, small Tromanale parades also took place near the red carpet to promote the Tromanale film festival and also the underground film scene. This action is also based on the Troma parades, which take place during the International Film Festival in Cannes.
