Originally from New Zealand, Dada Nabhaniilananda (Nah-bah-neel-ah-nahn-da) is a yoga monk, a musician, an author, a keynote speaker and a meditation instructor. In 1979 Dada was ordained as a monk in India. Author of 'Close Your Eyes & Open Your Mind - a Practical Guide to Spiritual Meditation' and winner of eight international song-writing awards, his unique talents have brought him invitations from all over the world. Dada has taught meditation and performed music in more than 40 countries, including Brazil where he appeared on stage with the Dalai Lama before a crowd of 10,000 at the Rio Earth Summit in 1992.
Dada currently lives in California where he runs the Ananda Marga meditation center, teaches at Universities and technology companies including Apple, Google and Facebook and is working on the sequel to his comic fantasy novel, Real Dragons Don't Cry.
