Mehndi is a type of human skin art commencing in ancient times, in which attractive designs are drawn on different part of body specially hands and feet, with the help a paste, made from the dry leaves powder of the henna plant. Stepping back to ancient times, mehndi is still a popular kind of body art among the women of the Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Mehndi is a traditional art form which initiated in the ancient Asia. It is typically applied during weddings of Muslim and Hindu brides. Muslims in Afghanistan also started to use the mehndi art reflected from sub-continent. In the countries of Middle East and Africa, it is famous for women to apply henna to their fingernails and toenails and to their hands. Handprint (Mehndi) drawn on hand are very popular among the women and girls in which different stylish designs, flowers and tattoos are drawn on body parts with the help of cone and when it dried it is removed usually red or brown color print remain on the body.
