Nigerian-born indie-soul artist Black Hibiscus’ 4th project titled “GROWING PAINS” is a project exploring personal growth and the trials that come with it. As black hibiscus grows not only as a person but also as a producer and writer, the project serves as a bed for experimentation and exploration into new sonic territories. The album takes us on a journey of this self-growth using a backdrop of tranquil nature and the hectic New York Cityscape vying for our attention.
