in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
THE MOST incredible thing happened - About ten months ago, while sitting at anchorage in Agua Verde on the Sea of Cortez, we received a phone call from Jim Carrier, a writer for Cruising World magazine.
He wanted to do a piece on us. US! We couldn’t believe it! We still can’t believe it. We didn’t tell a soul for fear it wouldn’t come true and we’re glad we didn’t, because it didn’t come true. They ran out of room for our story and so pushed it back. Fast forward seven months and the story was on again, this time for March, 2024.
Well, today it happened - We were all smiles as we read our story sitting here in the Puerto Peñasco boat yard, still fixing up our boat.
What an incredible adventure of ups and downs this boat life as been for us. We look forward to many, many more adventures on the sea.
We feel incredibly honored to be published in CRUISING WORLD MAGAZINE.
Thank you, Jim for an incredible story and to Cruising World Magazine for publishing it - WE CAN’T STOP SMILING!
The second photo is of my proud father holding our new favorite copy of the magazine

18 years ago today, Chris and I said “I do” and the adventures began❤️
Together we scuba dove a shipwreck in Bali, hiked dozens of ruins, including Guatemala’s Tikal and Cambodia’s Ankor Wat. Rode elephants through Thailand’s jungles, watched Tucans play in Belize and monkeys swing from trees in Guatemala. Drove a scooter around the island of Cozumel, Mexico. Took a train through the Swiss Alps, visited da Vinci’s Last Super, saw the Mona Lisa and statue of David, ate pizza in its birth place, Naples. Climbed to the top of a church steeple in Columbia, took a bus ride for the full length of Vietnam. Got lost in Venice, climbed the Eiffel Tower, hiked through the Trinity Alps, got snowed on in Rome. After exploring 19 countries, we visited 33 US states in our truck and RV and then bought a boat.
We’re currently living on the Sea of Cortez in our 1984 Irwin 65.
I love you, babe. Thank you for introducing me to some of the greatest adventures of my life. Here’s to many, many more🥰

Ahoy there! We are Chris and Jessica Hanna (along with fur babies Daisy and Max). After traveling the United States in an RV for over two years, we traveled to La Paz, Baja California Sur and bought a 1984 65 foot sailboat. After her nine and a half week refit on the hard, we’re finally living aboard in and around the Sea of Cortez.
There’s still much to do to bring her back to her original glory and there is no end to the beautiful areas to explore.
Please join us while we navigate through this sometimes insane but always incredibly beautiful adventure!
P.S. Our channel is family friendly and we'll never ask you for money (Patreon). We do however absolutely love your comments and likes and would be thrilled if you would subscribe!
So please come along for the adventure!
