Hey everyone! I'm a 51 year old brown belt under Mike Codella (4th degree Renzo Gracie black belt). I began training martial arts with TKD in 1985. I went on to train Shaolin kung fu and Wing chun beginning in 1999. I began BJJ/kickboxing and MMA in 2008. I earned my purple under Marcelo Garcia in 2017 followed by my brown belt at Codella academy in 2023. This channel focuses on roll narrations infused with small gems of wisdom accumulated over decades of martial arts training. This is with the hope that practitioners will find useful information, to help add value, safety and a more open minded perspective to their BJJ journey.
