Jimmy Carter's "legacy:" this sitcom about a Soviet athlete in love with an American athlete was supposed to air on NBC. When they dropped the summer games, they dropped this show along with them, and CBS hastily picked it up. The show was likely doomed as soon as the boycott happened anyway, regardless of network. From NBC's perspective, this show was just rubbing salt in the wounds of how much money they lost because of the boycott.
