Hello all, this is Lauryn, Pete’s other half posting…

Although I post plenty of photos of our fun life together, Pete and I are very private regarding the serious things in our personal life. This is an extremely hard thing for me to share with all of you, but since I started telling some people on Wednesday night, I've realized just how helpful the power of thoughts and prayers in large numbers can be.

My worst nightmare since meeting Pete, my logger, the love of my life came true on Wednesday afternoon when I got a call that he was in an accident while working. The link tells more of the story so I'll spare the details but he is on the mend.

I'm speechless over the amount of love, support and prayers from family, friends and strangers that have reached out.

We have a long road ahead of us, but the man I love will be coming home to me and that is the only thing that matters.
