As far back as I can remember I have been fascinated with log cabins. I cant hardly drive past one without wanting to stop and take a closer look. Many years ago I had 14 acres of nice land up on a hill and began cutting my logs for my first cabin, but like many things in life, life got in the way. Now I'm in my early 40's and have the time, resources, health, and motivation to start a small project. For that, I thank my higher power and the kind words from my friends.
The new site is sitting within walking distance of the TN river and surrounded by TVA land and shoreline.
We like it around here and hope you enjoy our project as well.

With that said, Join Leah and I as we restore a cabin from the 1850's using our Freightliner MT45 mobile shop that we are also working on in other videos.
We plan to work a little on the cabin, work a little on the truck, and play around each day as we see fit.
