I am a Chicago based musician, mechanic, and teacher. At age 14, I quit school and began working in steel mills, factories, snow-making, and in just about every trade.. I began college for music in 1999, in my 20's. Since, I have performed everywhere, but had an awful dark spell losing it all after hurricanes Katrina and Wilma forced me North, I attended university at DU in Denver then for master's with scholarship, but fell ill to pulmonary problems and ended up freezing often and homeless. Returned to Midwest in 2011 fully recovering.. and now a health/nutrition fanatic..
I am still recovering though- from broken middle finger(aversion fracture) suffered past Summer that stopped me cold for months.
