Like a lot of people, I've been working from home the last few weeks. But I don't have a desk, so time to make one. Video to come once the project is done.

I'm a hobbyist woodworker, builder, and maker. My training background consists entirely of watching New Yankee Workshop on PBS, learning from the growing maker community on YouTube, and what I learned from "shop" class in middle school - although Mr. Duarte used to say, "it's Industrial Arts... the shop is across the street at Smitty's."
I build things to use in my own home that fit my other hobbies and interests like gaming and poker. As such, most projects end up in my basement game room.
