The Ritz name dates back to 1918 with the opening of a portrait studio on the famous Atlantic City, NJ boardwalk. Then, in 1936, the first Ritz Camera store opened in Washington, DC. Customers were offered overnight black and white film processing for just 25 cents a roll.
