GREEN ASIA was founded in 2008 by Kanit Prukprakarn in Bangkok, Thailand. With a background in the music industry, combined with his love of nature and bird-watching, he began an exploration of wildlife documentary filmmaking and cinematic scoring. He assembled a dynamic crew, and together, they spent 5 years travelling to remote regions of Thailand in search of every wild animal their cameras could capture. Wild Thailand was released in 2013 on National Geographic Channel and heralded as the most complete account of Thailand’s wildlife to date. It went on to win the Grand Remi Award for Best Television & Cable Production in 2014 at the Houston International Film Festival and gained much notoriety at home and abroad.
GREEN ASIA went on to produce Living Legacy, an 8-part miniseries documenting Thailand’s remaining wildlife and commenting on human impact on the environment. This aired on Thai PBS in 2015 and won the Green Globe Award from the Green World Foundation with the support of
