As part of refocusing my channel on general game development, I'm moving my Fusion series of videos over to the Studio Elttob channel. I imagine that a lot of technically minded people here would *still* be interested, but out of respect for your subscription box, I've made the call that it's better off living closer to its sibling projects that will be moving over there too.
The first video is about memory management - specifically, what Fusion's latest mystical "possiblyOutlives" warning message means, and how Fusion's unique memory management paradigm can lead to a more robust program in the end. All accompanied by nice motion graphics to visualise the process using multiple different code perspectives, of course :)
Hope to see you there!

Hey! Just thought I'd give you guys a bit of a channel update.
I'm going to phase out most of my Roblox videos from now on, in particular videos talking about community issues on Roblox. While I'm still interested in Roblox as a platform, I feel that I can no longer make truly unbiased videos given my position within the community and relative to some at the company, and you deserve better than conflicts of interest. This decision has been a long time coming, but I wanted to wrap up the plugin marketplace video series first.
Instead, I would like to shift to videos that apply across all platforms and game engines. As the Project Stockholm series has fantastically demonstrated, there's a real desire for people to learn about game development and share techniques outside of my Roblox circles! So my focus will be on reaching people who are interested in the craft, no matter what tools they use.
I'll continue making videos about Luau and Fusion - while these things often refer to Roblox, they are both gradually drifting towards being general-use software, and I have future plans to integrate them into much more of my work.
If you'd like to keep up to date with my personal projects on Roblox, you should check out @StudioElttob - I'll be posting updates to those projects over there, while reserving this channel for my more general videos.
And finally, if this isn't what you came to this channel for, then that's OK - it's been wonderful having you as an audience. As I move on to the next chapter, I'll be forever grateful that you gave my work your time. But from here on out, I want to make what I'm best positioned to do - videos for creators across platform boundaries, separate from my standing in the Roblox community.
Hopefully, you'll enjoy it all the same.
All the best,
Dan
