Finally got around to watching the "my senpai is annoying" anime. I know im late... I kept putting it off, and forgetting to watch it. I'm gonna be honest... I love this show. I was a bit skeptical at first, thought it would be uncomfortably awkward and... weird. But I really enjoyed the interactions between these two. Igarashi is absolutely adorable... takeda is absolutely adorable... sakurai and Kazuma are too (probably my favorite side couple of any anime I've ever watched)!
I was pleasantly surprised at how kindly igarashi was treated by her coworkers, and how wholesome this show was. I decided to read more of the manga, but I figured I'd just share my opinion on the anime.
Again, VERY LATE to the party, but amazing show. Very cute, very good. 🩷
(New rule in mind: if the anime has a green haired girl, it's probably a banger show. I love igarashi beyond belief... )

I lowkey wanna say sumn about this cause I keep seeing instances of it all over my fyp.
A bit of a rant, but also a bit of a motivational post towards young artists, or artists in general.🩷
Why has the art community become so critical of younger artists? I classify art as... literally any form of self expression in the form of creative works. Literature, cosplay, crafts, drawing, ect..
I can't help but feel an unfathomable amount of anger, every time I see a young artist get flamed/unnecessarily criticized over posting their works.
I wasn't allowed to post on YouTube until I was like... 13? 14? So I never really had the issue of people seeing my beginner work when I was younger, I already had 10+ years of experience under my belt. But I see this in every sector of the creative space online, no matter where I go. I see young artists trying to kickstart their career, and proudly show their works to the world. Only to recieve snide comments, devoid of all empathy or care, just because someone didn't appreciate their creative work.
And let's not mention the elitist artists who believe that, because their work is "vastly better" than another, it's okay to hand out unnecessary criticism to these young artists, as if they're a god of some sorts...
Yes, constructive criticism exists, but when given to someone who never asked for it, or didn't want it, defeats the purpose of it being constructive. It's invasive and sometimes offensive, especially when someone is trying to show a piece of artwork that they are proud of.
Not everyone online in the art space is actively trying to be the best. People want to share their creations, and share their artistic journey through whatever platform they use. People have become so desensitized, completely disregarding the fact that there is a person behind that screen.
There is an artist who was proud of their work, there was a cosplayer who was excited to show off their costume, there was a crafter who just finished their first dragon puppet, only to be bullied or made fun of, for doing what they enjoy.
This hate comes from within the community, and from outside aswell.
All I want to say is, please remember to treat young artists with respect. Remember that we all start somewhere, being proud of yourself at all stages of your art journey, will help you move forward. Do not rain on someone's parade, because you do not enjoy or appreciate what they do. I'm tired of seeing young artists, or artists in general quit, because of the bullying they faced.
And to the young artists, or for any artists reading this, please just keep going. I was a young artist, and I also was subject to horrific amounts of bullying, irl and online. You just gotta be proud of your progress and keep moving. 👍🩷
And a funny maomao pic idk :3
