Fun Fact: Almost every animal in Night Tribe's territory is nocturnal, being awake at night and sleeping during the day (hence why its called NIGHT Tribe)

In Ekhala there is a species of highly intelligent birds, one variant for each Tribe. They oversee the Tribes and collect the gems of fallen wolves, though little is known of where they take them or why. The rest of the Ekhalan bird variations are available as early access for paid members on our Patreon!

Little expression test for Trout and Reed! Reed's expression is a bit different from the reference but I think it's funny :)
Fun Fact: Trout's Gem Power is Gem of Sharpness, turning the horns on his head into a singular long, narwhal-shapeed horn. Reed's is Gem of Sea Breathing which allows her to create a bubble of air underwater, which is great for sitting and waiting at the sea bed for the perfect fish to swim past to catch!

Water Tribe's territory is so pretty. They live on a tropical island covered in mangroves and surrounded by coral reefs rich with fish.
Fun Fact: All Water Wolves have fins that help them swim easily through the sea. The placement of these fins are inherited from the wolf's parents!

Fun Fact: Originally we were going to share the Wolves of Ekhala story through a series of MAPs, then we switched to the idea of a comic, then changed AGAIN to the animated series currently being worked on! If you go back to some of our first videos, you can see our art/animation has come a long way since then :')

We are two Australians making an animated series called Wolves of Ekhala!
Falsely accused of murder and condemned to execution, Water Wolf Mahi finds herself on the run from her own Tribe. However, in her desperate escape, she discovers a far greater danger—one that jeopardizes not only her own life or the fate of her Tribe, but that threatens the existence of every Tribe in Ekhala: Water, Fire, Light, Night, Ice, Earth and Cherry Blossom.
To save the Tribes, Mahi must place her trust in wolves deemed untrustworthy, and believe in the unbelievable.
