Founded at the Rotterdam Conservatory, MAYÍN has grown into a closely bonded band in a short amount of time. Using songs from songwriter and also frontwoman Misha Wong as their ammunition, the group is ready to take over stages all around the country.

The music comes from the No Man’s Land between Alternative Pop and Psychedelic Folk, from Sleepy Sun to London Grammar. Think of spherical songs that will activate your thoughts, providing food for your mind, heart and hips. Songs to dwell on, but shake your rear to as well. When the band goes crazy energy will burst off of the stage, only to be silently subdued in an introverted manner. After all, patterns of expectation are meant to be broken, aren’t they?

The future is hiding behind the horizon somewhere and MAYÍN is on its way, seeking out the end of that horizon where the largest of adventures lie in wait.
